In Closing


This was the third annual “Ear to the River” survey. We believe this new survey approach worked very well and we were able to gain insights from a much wider segment of the North American hydro industry through association meetings and web pages as well as through social media channels (i.e., LinkedIn). We were also able to obtain targeted asset owner data by directly polling NHA and OWA members.

In 2024, we will continue to employ this pulse survey methodology to keep our “ear to the river” on major trends impacting the hydropower industry. Please let us know if you have questions that you would like us to consider in the 2024 survey.
